Day one switch to Lexapro from Paxil CR

Day 1 - So far uneventful, which is a good thing. I did not take my paxil today, just the Lexapro. I think I will try taking the paxil every other day for the next couple weeks and see how that goes to ween off from the Paxil. I feel OK, but it’s only been a few hours since I took the Lexapro, I don’t expect anything to be different today though. My Mom and Dad are helping me to get my meds so I am happy about that. I was given a 2 week sample so I should be set for a while.
Everything that I read about Lexapro is very good. I have not heard any horror stories like I have with Paxil. I think its good that I am starting training this week at my new job which lasts for 6 weeks. It will give me something to keep my mind busy with. I was told we have homework with training. So my mind will be busy not worrying about the med change.
