Depression and Drug Abuse

Drug abuse and depression can go hand in hand. The pain that depression causes in someones life can make a person turn to alcohol and drugs. Many people suffering from depression seek ways to end the pain and make them feel alive again. They often do more harm by abusing alcohol and turning to illegal drugs or prescription drugs. With all the news on celebrities entering drug rehab lately in the news I think it is making it easier for anyone considering admitting themselves into drug rehab. It is about time we talk about the many dark sides of depression. Today I wanted to talk about holistic ways to drug detoxification. I Found a great drug rehab that I would like to introduce you to.
The Stone Hawk Rehabilitation Center is located in south central Michigan, approximately 1-1/2 hours west of Detroit and 1-1/2 hours east of Chicago in Battle Creek, Michigan. Stone Hawk Rehabilitation facility is on 13.5 acres with over 350 feet of water frontage on private St. Mary’s Lake. The facility looks so relaxing and peaceful! It is exactly what anyone going through drug rehab needs. It even has a stocked lake where you can go fishing. Dr Kellogg strongly believes in holistic medicine and uses saunas and nutrition (to name a few) as a healing mechanism. Dr. Kellogg’s brother is the founder of Kellogg cereals.
The Stone Hawk Rehabilitation Center has a 76%+ success rate making it the most successful drug rehabilitation center in the country! They use the New Life Detoxification Program for drug detox (Saunas) to sweat the drugs (toxins) out of the body. Then they show the student what ethics are, they make the decision to change their life - they simply direct them by showing them the path to freedom. “Helping someone recognize their addiction and giving them the ability to end it - is what we are all about. It’s all about stopping, changing, and starting (a new life).”
If you or someone you know is suffering from dug abuse or alcoholism I encourage you to seek help. Here is a link to this drug rehab facility. You can request more information and see all of what they have to offer. You may also call them at 1-888-227-9193 they are available 24/7.
