Out of my comfort zone

Well I signed my son up a few weeks ago for swimming classes which started Monday. Monday we didn’t go because Kenny didn’t make it home in time for class (something I was secretly happy about). Well today he had another class and this time I put on my bathing suit that I bought but never worn before AND I actually went in the pool!! I was feeling a little short of breath like I couldn’t get enough air, but I went home expecting that i was going to have a melt down but instead I feel calmer now than I have in a LONG LONG time! It was actually relaxing! There were other people at the pool also and I didn’t spazz out! I spent about 1 hour there. I am so proud of myself! I think I may go back in the pool Friday too!
Maybe that is what I need, an outlet to all my stress because I really don’t have one now. I think I am going to try and start using the gym. I will aim for just 5 minutes on the treadmill and go from there. I am thanking the 20 minute relaxation track I been listening to from Easy Calm. I am going to use that every day.

Wow! I really like the new layout! How were you able to keep your same address when switching from blogger to wordpress?
And I’m much to crazy to go swimming at a pool with people I don’t know, but congrats on your success. I’ve read and heard that swimming is great for the body and mind.
