Perimenopause? Hot Flashes…Racing Heart..Anxiety!?
Jun 13th, 2007 by Michelle
OK. It is 1:10 AM. I woke up out of my sleep with a pounding, racing heart and a hot flash. I am 37 years old (in denial still) I am seriously thinking my anxiety has a lot to do with perimenopause! My heart was racing to 124 beats per minute and I was flush. A quick googling and I read of TONS of women in their 30’s who have the same problems. I am entering my “hormonal” time and I know this has to be the reason, at least partly, why I am feeling the way I do!
I laid in bed listening to the “Recharger” audio from the Easy Calm coaching session. It’s a 20 minute relaxation session. I was able to get my heart rate down to 89 from 124 and my blood pressure back to normal. I have used that relaxation track every day. The good thing about the whole Easy Calm system is Jon has a very soothing voice, so that helps tremendously!
If my panic attacks are partly due to hormones I wonder how long this is going to last.
