Kenny going to Dentist this AM

This morning I had to bring Kenny to the Dentist to see if he has an abscess in his tooth. I really don’t think he does because when tapping on all his teeth none hurt, but none the less he has to go. Since we are a new patient we had to be there 1 HOUR before the appointment, that alone was unsettling plus its a 30 min drive.
I was a little anxious this morning, I have a fear of dentists but I am going to not show that in front of Kenny. We arrived at the clinic 1 hour before my appointment. Kenny was seen 4 hours later. Yes 4 hours later! The time spent in the dentist chair 20 minutes. All they did was xray one tooth and said he had a cavity in a baby tooth and handed me a list of dentists that would “give him laughing gas and restrain him if needed”. All this because Kenny asked if he would get a shot. I was pissed. I missed a day of work for that.
I guess I am doing better by doing my self help programs to help my agoraphobia because if I could sit in a clinic for 4 hours and then drive 30 minutes to and from something must be working! Also I was able to go shopping inside CVS again which was good. I am happy that I am able to be somewhat free to run about town.
