Extreme Panic Attacks, hives and Prednisolone!

I am having a really hard time. Yesterday I called 911 twice, took 2 ambulence rides only to be told my hives and pain from the hives could not be determined, was given prednsolone Dospak 21. Since I have been taking these pills which is helping the hives I have been having extereme panic attacks like I have never had before! In the middle of work I almost called 911 because I was so dizzy, burning up but no fever, frantically looking for my thermonitor, blood pressure cuff, etc. Took 1/2 of a xanax and now and starting to feel better. My pulse was 125 bpm. Has anyone had this problem taking prednisolone? I just want to feel normal!

Hey! I have panic disorder as well, and have been on Prednisone (which must be similar) several times. I had lots of problems the last time I was on it. I had irregular heartbeats, chest pain, shortness of breath.. and it just made me really jumbled and cranky all around. Good Luck!
