Well I am sitting here waiting for my advil to kick in so I can finish cleaning my house. I have been pretty good about keeping it somewhat in order but I have to say with a new kitten in the house it’s making my job a bit harder.
The day after Thanksgiving my son begged me to get us a tree. I had about $30 to my name. I started to tell him that it would have to wait but then something told me not to. I remember when I was a kid how special it was for us to find a Christmas tree. I didn’t want my sons memories to be that we were too poor for a tree so off to Old Time Pottery to get a tree, we found a really beautiful tree for $20! I can honestly say you can not find that cheap of a tree that looks that good at walmart! BTW I hate Walmart but thats a whole new post! lol. I am glad I went when I did because when I got home my car died. I guess I need a new Starter for it. Now I wish I use credit cards
Well my 2 month old kitten decided she was going to climb the tree. So after about 20 times of taking her out of the tree and telling her no! she now just sits on the chair next to the tree and looks at it. I was really afraid she was going to chew the Christmas tree lights because she has already chewed through 2 iPod earbud sets. But luckily she has not chewed any wires. So now I have bits of Christmas decorations all over the place, my son has been on albuterol and steroids for the past week and has been wired to the hilt and has helped the cat make a mess. Kenny’s new thing now ( I am assuming because he is bored stiff) is to make the cat chase the dog and of course my dog (an overly agressive Chihuaua) chases the cat back and my son runs and follows. I am SOOO glad its Monday tomorow and he goes back to school! Too bad my car is dead or I would be celebrating at Starbucks, that is if I had Starbucks money.
