Back on track and back to my old self

OK I started my day with my daily Ah meditation, ate a proper breakfast, walked the dog, took my vitamin had my tea and all is better! It’s amazing how a small detour off a schedule that works for you can cause such havoc and trigger a relapse of depression or anxiety.
Some people don’t take change well and I always thought I took change well as long as the change is a good and positive change and not a bad one. It took me a long time to stick to a daily regimen that works for me. The old saying that it takes 21 days to form a new habit is very true, in my case I think it took longer but now that I have my schedule planned out each day, I am able to live my life once again.
When you suffer from agoraphobia or panic attacks it feels like you put yourself in voluntary prison or confinement. It is the worst feeling to be trapped inside your mind. Imagine being out of milk or cereal for your kids and you have no husband or best friend to get those items for you and you are so afraid if you step foot in the grocery store you will have a panic attack and the sad part is, if you do go to the store more than likely you will have a panic attack because you already believe that you will. I lived that way for far too long and I have no plans on going down that road again!
You will hear me mention over and over how planning your day really helps keep you focused and on track! When you find something to add to your daily plan that works then write it down immediately! You may have to keep tweaking your daily plan but don’t give up until you find the plan that works for you!
