Finding a cheaper place to live..what a pain!
Jul 27th, 2008 by Michelle
Sorry guys that I have not posted as much in the last week. I have been trying to find a new place to live that is cheaper. I did find one place that my son loves and that I am on the fence about liking. I do like that its about $500 a month cheaper but its not as nice as where I live now and its feels like the way things were when I lived in NYC. Don’t get me wrong the grounds are beautiful, the apartments are nice but it’s very “urban living” the apartments are 3 floors high and there will be people living above me and on all sides of me. I will know today if I am approved or not. I applied at another place and was rejected and out $50 application fee! At least at the new place they told me if I was rejected they would give me back my $50 Application I had to pay, so I thought that was nice. I guess as long as it is somewhat as quiet as I live now I will be OK. I can make the apartment look really nice with some work. My son is stoked that it has an onsite movie theater, it’s small and has like 30 seats lol but it’s cute. I am trying not to get my hopes up too high about being approved. I will post again when I get word.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that you get this new apartment - or somewhere similar. The financial savings will mean that you won’t have to work so many hours, yes?
Good luck!
