I am going back to school!

I have to say that Unemployment sucks. Didn’t I say that in the last few posts lol. Well it does! So I decided I was going to go back to school and start a new degree in medical transcribing. I am totally excited about this! Years ago I took a medical billing class and enjoyed it so I think this will be a good thing! The pay is good for transcribers and there seems to be a whole lot of jobs for medical transcribers on the internet. I have a list I am starting at my Work At Home Parents Blog Most required a few years of experience or a degree, some require both. Since I have 7 more days until I start training for my new job and the next available class was in the same timeframe I decided to start my classes Oct 14th to give me time to at least get through training and get adjusted to a new schedule. Change is hard for me so one step at a time!
I am going to have to figure out a plan to mix in some fun activities this week and make it like a vacation. I think I might lay by the pool in the morning when its not so hot or maybe read a book at Starbucks, but these are things that I can still do even when I start work because I will be working a 3pm-12am shift so I can do these things in the morning after Kenny gets off to school, that is if I don’t decide to go back to bed after I get him out the door. Like I said we will see. I have also thought about finishing unpacking completely or making some recipes ahead of time so that I can quickly microwave them since I will be working at dinner time. Today I made some based Ziti from a recipe I got from Food Network website. It was sooo good and real easy to make. I bought some microwavable dishes that you can either place in the oven or microwave to reheat. My son ate that up real quick for dinner. Cooking and baking are so relaxing.
I also decided to go back to church every Sunday. I left feeling really great and motivated to do so much, it is like it broke the depression I was feeling this morning and if that’s all it takes for my spirits to be high again then it’s a date every Sunday! There was over 1500 people there and not an ounce of anxiety! Wooo Hoo!
Well off to cleaning school uniforms I go! Be sure to listen to our newest radio shows on Blog talk Radio. The links are to the right! Enjoy!
